After a hot weekend, highs this week will continue to push in to the low to mid 90s. Normal summer rain patterns will continue, with afternoon showers along the I-95 corridor and occasional overnight storms. Some relief will be provided with early morning cloud cover, although near-record highs remain a possibility once those clouds clear away.
The best part of weather-related news right now is that less than 1% of the state of Florida is currently experience unusual dryness or drought-qualifying conditions. Recent storms have provided rainfall exactly where we’ve needed it, so the risks of wildfire remains low in comparison to some summers.
